Elliott's commitment to developing young men extends beyond the football field. He emphasizes core values such as integrity, excellence, empathy, and grit, guiding his players to become responsible and respectful individuals . This holistic approach to coaching has impacted thousands of student-athletes throughout his tenure.
Family plays a central role in Elliott's life and coaching philosophy. His sons, Nathan and Caleb, both former Bobcat players, have joined him on the coaching staff—Nathan as Offensive Coordinator and Caleb as a receivers coach. This family dynamic reinforces the strong sense of community and continuity within the program.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Coach Elliott was honored with the G.A. Moore Coach of the Year award in 2025 . His enduring legacy at Celina High School is marked by a steadfast commitment to excellence, both on and off the field.
