Timeline and details

The baseball season starts in mid-January on the date determined by UIL. Tryouts are held on the first 2 days of the season. Games and practices are held during spring break. The Varsity season can last until mid-June depending on how far in playoffs the team advances. JV teams will wrap up their seasons at the end of April.

• Monday: Athletic Period - 4:45pm
• Tuesday: Gameday
• Wednesday: Athletic Period - 4:45pm
• Thursday: Athletic Period - 4:45pm
• Friday: Gameday
• Saturday: Practice or Game likely

JV White

• Monday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Tuesday: Gameday
• Wednesday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Thursday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Friday: Gameday
• Saturday: Practice or Game possible

JV Orange

• Monday: Gameday
• Tuesday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Wednesday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Thursday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Friday: 4:45pm - 6:15pm
• Saturday: Practice or Game possible

Gameday:

Typical game days are Tuesdays and Fridays for Varsity and JV White. JV Orange typically plays on Mondays. Varsity players are required to rid the bus back from away games.

Equipment needed:

Baseball cleats, baseball bat BBCOR certified, and a baseball glove

Equipment provided:

• Uniforms, Practice Pants, Socks
• Hat and Practice Shirt purchased by athlete
